Chasing the sun

Winter in northern Europe is a struggle sometimes. We don’t often get snow where I am (this week has been an exception), and often January is wall-to-wall grey skies. So I’ve made it a goal to always try and get away for a few days in February. Doesn’t have to be hot, sun and blue skies are the main thing. I always feel happier and a little closer to spring when I come back.

Nowhere in Europe is that warm in February, so sometimes you have look a little further afield. Sometimes to places that might not usually be your cup of tea. You never know what you’ll find when you scratch the surface.
